Juicy Fruits Ministry & Steps of Gold Dance Studio – “Project Cuidar” Scholarship Program
Juicy Fruits Ministry and Steps of Gold are endeavoring to reach out to the children in our local communities and help educate families in Hispanic history, encourage cultural awareness and offer spiritual growth. Daniel and Yvette Salinas, along with their children, have been participants for over 15 years and have developed a love and desire to help broaden the Steps of Gold Dance Programs. Our goal is to help children achieve their experience of fulfillment in character, self-worth and the motivation to gain greater success in their education and career goals. We appreciate the creativity the Lord has given our children and we hope to share this gift with others and bring joy and happiness into their homes. Support comes in many forms and Juicy Fruits wants to be able to help support children and their families through the performing arts.
Juicy Fruits Ministry and Steps of Gold Dance Academy supports the development of:
· Character –To respect fellow students, instructors and peers
· Courage –To appreciate the ability to perform in front of a live audience
· Commitment –To work hard and support group efforts as a Dance Team
Dance Scholarship Program
Project Cuidar (Care) Project Cuidar Scholarship Program was created to offer an atmosphere of joy and celebration through a dance and theater program for students and families interested in becoming involved in the performing arts. Our specific age range is 5 –25 years of age.
Project Cuidar (Care) – Elementary Program
Supports qualifying students in need of a discounted and/or free program
Students will experience and learn the aspects of Dance Theater Production
Students will learn basic skills including: social skills, motor skills, and the ability to work together as a team.
Students will receive mentoring from caring instructors who are willing to invest their time and efforts to help build positive attitudes and develop a tolerance for structured programs
Project Cuidar (Care) is dedicated to help prevent financial barriers for students and families in hardship.
Project Cuidar (Care) is successful in developing a child’s self-worth by taking the initiative to invest in their futures.
Project Cuidar (Care) is FREE to eligible participants with Low to Moderate incomes
The Steps of Gold Dance Academy objectives are to help build a child’s self-confidence and motivation to pursue greater success in their education and future careers.
Project Cuidar (Care) – Youth and College Level
Supports qualifying students in need of a discounted and/or free program
Experience and learn all aspects of Dance/Theater Production (including: set design, lighting, sound, stage management, directing, costumes, public relations and marketing)
Students can take responsibility to serve our younger generations with examples of leadership in the performing arts, uniting strong alliances by influencing proper social structures and building self-esteem.
Job Training Opportunities through volunteer clerical services and assisting class instructors are available
Students will learn basic employment skills including: social skills, problem solving, conflict management and resolution.
Students will receive mentoring from caring instructors who are willing to invest their time and efforts to help build confidence to achieve short and long term goals in a positive entertainment industry.
